The date is finally here, Dasein is out now!
It’s been a while since we released Another Step and we've spent just a little bit of time bottling up our ideas, laughing, crying, fighting and eventually crafted these 12 new songs.
Hopefully you'll think they're not too bad. It's been a very long time since our first ever E.P release that Peter Kay reviewed as "Ten a penny, these indie bands" but we’re confident even he will think these are half decent.
A special thank you to Adam Stokel for directing and bringing out the best in us. Along with Alexia, Adam and Roger adding those extra sprinkles.
Thanks to all of you that have supported us over the years, this is for you.

Head over to PureVolume now to hear Dasein in its entirety
We are very excited to announce that to celebrate the release of our new album, Dasein, we will be bringing a special one off live show to our home city of Manchester on April 15!
We are offering you not one, but TWO sets for this very special gig. We are very excited to be bringing you a special acoustic set to open the show, where we will be reworking some old classics and some of the new tracks as well, and we will even be joined on stage by a mystery special guest...
Then we'll be plugging in the amps and cranking up the volume to bring you the full blown, City Reign live experience.
We know. We're good to you. It's ok, you don't need to thank us. Just go buy your tickets, before they all go!!!!
Well haven't we got a treat for you! No sooner have you been diving headlong into the sounds of Sympathy, then we bring you the brand new video for the follow up single, Into The Night!
The video is currently premiering over at Pure Volume, here's the link. Go check it out, and let us know what you think.
Ps. here's a clue: it's pretty damn awesome, even if we do say so ourselves.
Well, well well. 2015 has been quite a year. It may have seemed quiet from the outside with no gigs or releases, but those of you who know us know that it has been a very busy year for us, both personally and musically.
We entered the studio way back at the end of January at Castle Rock Studios with Adam Stokel, and we are absolutely delighted with how the it has turned out. We are very excited about getting it out there for everyone to hear!
We are now delighted to unveil to you all, the ‘difficult second album’ – DASEIN
Dasein is due for official release in March, but we are pleased to announce that we are offering an immediate digital download of new single 'Sympathy' when you pre-order the album direct from our website! The album will then be released sooner to all the early birds.
We have a number of packages available, with physical CDs, T-shirts and some posters available. So make sure you get your orders in and get your albums downloaded and give it a spin!
Thanks again for all of your support, it means so much to us. We can’t wait to pay some of it back with the new record!
After an untimely bout of manflu, we're back to a full compliment in Castle Rock Studios with Mr Adam Stokel. Having spent a couple of days whingeing , Grice has decided to join us while we get further stuck in to the follow up to Another Step.
So far, so drummy and bassy. Cracking on with the gee-tars tomorrow, and it's all beginning to come together nicely.

Disappear is out today on all good online retailers. A big thank you to everyone that has featured it on blogs, hype machine and the wireless.
Lammo was kind enough to play 'Disappear' on the show tonight, making it the fourth single of ours that he's spun on 6 Music...not bad, not bad at all.
We were privileged to have Clash Magazine premier the Disappear music video.
"it's a driving, indie rock epic, full of low slung bass lines, choppy post-punk drumming and searchlight guitar lines."
The video was produced with love and hard graft by Volkerfirma Creative
Well here we go again, yet another single for you all to devour. Disappear is without a doubt our heaviest song to date and we put that all down to Ryan and his beard.
The song is another product of our sessions with Adam Stokel and has premiered tonight on the all knowing Music Ninja.
We wait months to come out with any news, and then we have two bits of news in two weeks…
Hot on the heels of last week’s announcement that we are set to headline The Deaf Institute in Manchester, we are pleased to announce we will be releasing a BRAND NEW SINGLE in September, called When You Got It All.
Some of you may have seen our photos from the studio a few months ago working with our friend Adam Stokel, and this tune is the first offering of that session. It’s an energetic little number, all clattering drums and fizzing guitars and we’re dead pleased with it.
Many years ago, someone once said to us that we were so terrible that we'd only ever get a gig in an institute for the deaf.
Well, a few years on and we're very pleased to announce we will be fulfilling that prophecy with a headline show at Manchester's finest, The Deaf Institute!
It is one of our favourite venues in Manchester, and we have seen some of our favourite gigs there over the years including Lanterns On The Lake, The Travelling Band and The Slow Show to name but a few, so it is a great honour to be headlining our own show there on 15 November this year.
Tickets are on sale now - http://www.seetickets.com/event/city-reign/the-deaf-institute/812036
You may have noticed we’ve been a little quiet over the last few months. We’ve popped up here and there on social media to give you a glimpse of what we’ve been up to, but that’s been pretty much it.
But that’s all about to change as we’re coming back out from our caves.
Beginning with the news that we are set to play a set at the Wilton Hall in Milton Keynes next week as part of the Peter Bewich Charity Ball. The event is being held to raise money for Cancer Research, in particular for sufferers of a rare condition called periampullary cancer. There is a link below to the website for the event where you can go and find out what it’s all about, but we will just say that it has affected some people very close to us, and we are very proud to be playing our part in it.
There is still time to pick up your tickets, so if you’re in the Milton Keynes area, get yourself over to the website and get your tickets. They’re only £35, which quite frankly is a bit of a steal.
We will be coming back very soon with more news, but for now, so long…
It's free entry, so we'll expect to see you there.
We took a little weekend trip to Brighton to film with the 4Eyes team, having been seriously impressed by their previous work.
Wanting to create something a little different we recorded a live version of See What It’s Worth, the single will be released 24th March.
Two months in advance and our show at The Castle is now SOLD OUT.
We’re delighted to say that we’re being upgraded to Gullivers NQ across the road.
All original tickets are still valid
For anyone that has been foolish not to purchase you can grab them here
It’s going to be a special night you crazy guys & dolls
Here you have it, our first new music offering in a year.
'Package It Up' is the B-Side to our upcoming single.
Soak it up and spread the word
Breaking cover from writing album 2 in our bunker, we headed to SSR to record demos this week.
